Messing with a 700 it occured to me, Headspeed what are people aiming to achieve. is it the same at a 50 or because of the larger disc and bigger engine is the headspeed slower?

If you try to run the 700 with over 2000 headspeed you'll have tail problems, this is due to the design of the plastic tail blade grips, they tend to lock at high RPM. I was a little concerned that I could only run 60% gain with my Spartan gyro and still had a little wagging in funnels, this was the same issue with the 600N which, not surprisingly, runs exactly the same tail. I fitted a Quick UK tail to my 700 today and managed to bump gyro gain up to 70%. I'm running around 1950rpm in idle-up 2.Steve H
