  • Tail Pitch Slider...

I have been trying to put the tail pitch slider on my Trex 600 tail assembly for the past hour. No matter what i do, when i tighten it up it locks almost solid. It should spin freely but not this one.

Tried greasing the bearings and collar, adding and removing washers/shims but no matter what i do it will not run smooth. I am at a loss on where to go from here.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as i am about to launch it out of the window very soon

Have you got the correct sized shims top and bottom of the bearing on the L lever?
They should sit on the inner race only - if they reach the outer race, the bearing can't work?
    Cheers,

Nice one Rob! Just measured them according to the manual, and the ones in the packet are a larger diameter and were compressing on the outter race! Just found two from the spares pack in my Blade 400 and they seem to work. I am 100% sure they were the wrong washers, as i am very maticulous on opening the packets one at a time then putting them aside.

I have heard of parts missing before, but not the wrong washer in a bag.

Gotta love the forum and the wealth of knowledge and ideas it brings
