Futaba 3050 & Align 6600 Gov

Howdie,

Just putting the throttle together on my 600, and have a Futaba 3050 kicking around. Is it overkill for the throttle, and can the 6600 Gov handle it?

3050..How can it be overkill Aidi.. Will do the job nicely if its a spare..

The 6600 Gov is working fine on my 600nsp so far, No overspeeding or trouble as yet.

Only done 2 gallon through it as yet though..

Thanks Tim, Only reason i asked, was after watching the Finless video, he commented on making sure it was a servo without too higher frame rate.. so just wanted to be sure.

imo i dont theink the 3050 will be fast enough. Im using an align gov on one heli with a ds821 (similar speed to 3050) and it doesnt keep the head speed as good as id like, but on tother ive got a 9650 with 9257 gears and it is unboggable with a redline. Only using that servo cos i had a spare one but the faster servo works a lot better imo. But fookin cracking governer, im sure its a throttle jockey rebadged but i cant find out any info. I will keep looking and asking and ill try to get answer soon
