  • What glowplug for OS .50

    Hi there

Sorry if this has been covered before but what are people using......
Im running Magnum30% nitro in air temp of around 15-20 degree C - hard sport flying - basic 3D flying

Ive been using a Enya #4 for about 2.5 gallons but it gave up today.....the only other plug I had spare was a OS#8 so its running that now...didnt seems quite so good...?

The little bit of info I can find seems to suggest I should be using a OS A5....does this seem correct

Thanks for any comments of thoughts....

Another thumbs up for OS8`s although i try to use Enya 3`s as much as possible.

                  Either will do the job.

I always use an Enya no.3, they seem to last longer than OS 8's although my OS91 SZH runs better on the OS 8.

Found that my 50 Hyper runs better on Enya 3's than OS 8.

I think a lot depends on pipe and fuel but I have always found the Enya 3's reliable and consistent giving a good idle and easy start.

I run a Zimmerman Sceadu 50 exhaust with ProPower 16%.

                          Cheers
