carbsmart question

i will later be installing a carbsmart to my os50hyper engine in my 600n and have watched the finless videos and got the apoxy as he uses in the video but my question is can i use general purpose silicone to fill the remaining area around the wire. finless uses some atv or rtv stuff?? would this silicone be ok??

yup rtv IS silicone. Its actual name is silicone rtv but dont ask me what the abbreviation stands for cant remember

just re read what i put. i would assume general silicone would be ok but check the temp rating should say on the packet id say needs to be rated at 300 degress or higher tbh. if unsure yust get some rtv from a car parts place like partco, halfords and the like

It's what I use but then again I've yet to see my Carbsmart actually work. It'd now just switched off
