  • Align rce-6600 govener and dx7 settings

    Hi all

    After finally getting my govener to work on my 600NSP, I was wondering what setting you guys use for normal and idle up modes. I am running it on aux 2 on the dx7.

    There are no settings for this TX in the manual and I have no idea on how to judge headspeeds.

    Cheers

    Hi Richard
    All depends what sort of flying you do, if 3D 100-105% on the travel adjust on aux2.
    If general sports then knock it down to 95%.
    If you look in the instructions go by the JR settings.

      95% on my knight gives me 2100 head speed but i guess the gearing must be different

              I'm running 95% on mine, tbh I can't really tell much difference going a few % either side of this.

              If you want to lower the head speed in normal mode just use prog. mix one, I have it set as follow:

              AUX2 to AUX2
              RATE: -20%
              0%
              SW:F-NR
              OFFSET: 0

              works a treat means I'm running 75% in normal mode (for taking off), if you want 3 different head speeds just use prog. mix 3 and change to:

              AUX2 to AUX2
              RATE: +10%
              0%
              SW:F-S2
              OFFSET: 0

              that would give you 105% in flight mode 2. The ATV for the governor sets the head speed for flight mode one, then prog. mix one reduces it for normal mode and prog. mix three increases it for flight mode 2

              Hope this helps

                  Thanks guys.

                  Greig, many thanks for that post. Thought I could only get 2 gov settings as I use one program mix as a throttle cut.

                  Will give them a try on Friday.

                      Is this the right way round as i have read and set my radio with
                      aux2 -> aux2
                      rate: 0%
                      +80%
                      sw:f-nr
                      offset: 0

                      aux2 -> aux2
                      rate: 0%
                      +90%
                      sw:f-s12
                      offset: 0

                      aux2 -> aux2
                      rate: 0%
                      +100%
                      sw:f-s2
                      offset: 0
