  • Trex 700 'Banana' Ball links

    Hi All,

Just received my Trex 700 in the post yesterday and I'm eagerly building it.

I've come across a problem with my ball links. They appear to have not been drilled straight. Below are a couple of pictures showing what I mean. I've spoken to Robbe UK and they have informed me that they are safe to use.

Also this doesn't seem to be an isolated case. I think that maybe all this batch of kits maybe the same.

Has anyone else got the same?

    Cheers Matt

yeah, some of mine are like that, they are drilled pretty deep so I ignored it and fitted anyway. Does need sorting though.

thats one of the problems i don't have. bearings and dampers have went though and i need to buy a new clutch and fan assy (which they have not released yet) to get mine back in air.

one day i will learn not to buy align 1st batch, or perhaps align any batch.

        cheers

Those look like they've got some serious spec tolerances. Align is number one for manufacturing consistency and overall part quality.

Someone asked why I want to swap a Trex600 for a Logo 600. Because of threads like this

And people asked why I want to swap a Trex600 for a Logo 600. Because Align are far behind on quality.
