I would buy a spartan 760 or maybe the csm 720. Both are seriously capable gyros for around £120-130.

Personally I have 3 spartans and I'm very impressed with them. The hold is stunning even when bogging the head right down. I've never bblown one out! Pyro consistency is very good, but not quite at 720 standards. But if you notice that then you probably wouldn't need to start this thread.

Servo wise agree with Ade and for a 50 get a BLS251.

        I personally like the spartan,i have 3 now on a 500,600N and a 700

Great little gyro, ticks all the boxes for me.

As it currently stands this would be my only future chioce.

I also have a 611 on my 600N Pro and again i really like it but wouldnt buy another but it performs well enough for me not to want to rip it off the model and replace it.

Logitech 2100t for me here, I have 3 of them and love each of them all

Simple (ish) to setup and better than the GY401 in my opinion.

Nathan. Don't buy anything till you see my spartan in the 500. I guarantee you will get one.

I'd not worry too much yet

I've just tried to get the case off one of mine and I'm buggered if I can get it off.

If you can it might be worth a smear of silicone sealer to cushion the vibes on a nitro. On an electric you will be fine as there are no vibes if you built it right

Just try the Align RCE-600+DS520 gyro with servo - its pretty amazing and £69 for both !!!!!!! - I would say its the same or better than a 401! - Its as simple to fit as the 401 as well.
