  • Super Pro Manual

Does anybody know if the NSP manual is the same as the original Pro manual? Reason I'm asking is i've got the upgraded swash and it seems I need to adjust the head linkages from the original.

You do need to adjust Pete but it doesnt tell you anything about the Quick UK swash settings in the Align manual.

Start again like I did, It doesnt take long if you have a pitch guide.

      Hi Peter,
      I have the NSP manual.
      linkage lengths are
      39.5mm flybar control rod linkages
      31mm blade grip linkages
66mm form wash out arm to swash
      60.5mm bellcranks to swash
All measurements are from centre of ball links to centre of ball links.
      Adrian.

          Thanks mate

I've checked the manual and the lenghts are the same.

Question - Are your max +/- values the same with default pitch settings in the swash menu? Also, did you have to adjust any of the linkages during set up?

Yes I adjusted my linkages a little.
I don't know what the default swash settings are!
I have mine set to -55% pitch in the swash menu.
Quick check on mine shows my bellcrank to swash links are 60.9mm so not far off the manual.
the pitch values are +/- 12.
            Adrian.

By default I meant in your radio swash menu. I think your DX7 is 60%. I'm just trying to get equal maximum +/- then dial it down in the swash menu to get an equal 12+/- without having to adjust the bottom/top end of the pitch curve in idle up. I'll get it though. Its part of this hobby I enjoy!!! Thanks for the reply.

BTW - inverted circuits??!!! I've some catching up to do!!!!

Just checked the DX7 on a non setup model and the default is 60%.
I always have a linear pitch curve.
Haven't really done much in the way of inverted circuits for real. Just a couple of slows circles and that almost ended in disaster.
On the sim its a lot easier.
