  • First 600 canopy paint job

I threw my 600 into the ground last week and made a bit of a mess of it, this included trashing the canopy. Nearly threw the canopy in the dustbin because it the mounting clip area was smashed and there was a big hole in the middle of the screen plus other cracks and gel coat missing in parts but......

Its took me a few hours and ended up with this -

Started off life as a standard nitro pro red, blue and yellow canopy but i decided to change it to a super pro rip off, not come out too bad. Don't get me wrong its not the best finish in the world but it will do!

      Nice one Steve

Looks good to me too, and it's always satisfying when you bring something back from the dead

Is that the flying lawnmower in the background?

that looks really good, with a few more colours youd be hard pushed to tell it apart from an OEM canopy well done!

              Excellent work m8.
My canopy is in the bin!
It broke round the clip also but other than that it only has a couple of marks on it.
If you want it and can do the same to it your welcome to it.
Shall I retrieve it from the bin?
              Adrian.

                  Sorry Steve,
Went to drag it out the bin this morning but someone (wifey me thinks) jumped into it to get more in and has crushed it rather badly now.
I don't think that it is recoverable. Typical!
