    Hi all

What speed winds is it happy in? Bit of a difference in weight between this and my twister storm lol.

    Cheers

check the B test questions somewone posted a link to.
We are not allowed to fly in more than 25 knts of wind, or they send a guy out with a bowler hat and clip board who tells everyone to stop flying

I've flown my 50s in a wind you can hardly stand up in. Its fun for a few minutes.
However I suggest you fly it in 10mph of less for the first flight!

              Seconded.

As quoted earlier in the thread, It all depends how good you are with the sticks..

If in doubt leave it until a better day.

once your at the happy to hover stage and beyond I thik flying in a wind actually teaches you more as your aways having to work the sticks, it also makes it a darn sight easier when the wind does finally die down.

our sites surrounded by water so were always having this conversation cos 99 times out of 100 its windy. either cos the tides comming in or going out LOL
                All the best

My usual wind strength meter is if my cap stays on its still okay, if it blows off its time to pack up!

I've not got a wind speed meter but I'll still fly when the plank flyers have given up and gone home but you reach a point where it's just too hard work and when the loop you start up wind of you ends up w-a-a-a-a-y downwind the pub is the best place to be

What does a 25mile an hour wind feel/look like?.

In my experience, flying nitro helis inside a pub is usually frowned upon, the bigger the heli the more frowning you're likely to get

Our site is perched on top of the highest hill around so its always blowing double what it is below. Don't be scared of wind, it really does make you a better pilot but its sometimes expensive on boxers....:P
