Well Ash very kindly crashed the 700n for me today on the first flight. Something went wrong on the tail system (electronically). We think the tail servo wire popped out in flight. Overall damage was minimal and I'm happy to say it will be airborne for Clubmans since it's one tough bugger.

Flight characteristics are very impressive so far, even running the machine in it had amazing power, autos forever too. Cyclics are quick and crisp, very accurate. The tail was plug and play and had no issues setting it up at all. Very impressed

EDIT: Ash has a short video of my first and only few minutes of flight...

That's very kind of you! I wouldn't have minded paying for one in a few weeks but if you're giving it away (he says with his tongue firmly pressed in his cheek but his fingers crossed ) I'll come and pick it up hehehe!

Give me a shout in a few weeks, I may well be interested!

I guess you could, but what's the point in buying a 90 and sticking a small engine in it???

Yeah, you're right of course- just figured I could use the engine from the rappy- I'am YEARS away from your style of flying and have only just started on inverted hovering- last week managed 2 mins!!!,, without crashing!!

I'm not sure of the mounting holes on an OS70, but my prototype machine will fit anything that has the same mounting holes as an OS91 SZ...

I'll try to get the vid done shortly, just sorting all the stuff out for Clubman. Sorry about stuffing the 700N Trev, not much I could do once it went but at least the damage is minimal.

Think I'll get rid of the raptor's and just stick to one brand- already got 4 spare 9152's and 611/9256,, only got to get myself a engine, OS or Yamada,,
then it's game on!!!! -would you use an AR7000 or AR9000 Spektrum reciever though??

I've had no luck with the AR9000's, had to send 5 back for repair already. I'd stick with the AR7000's...
