  • Tail Grip Slop

Oh no, my first problem with my Rush!

I have some lateral slop in one of the tail grips. The bearings are snug on the hub - the gap seems to be between the bearings and the grip, almost as if the grip is fractionally too large.

Is this safe to fly with or will I need to source replacements?

Hard to tell but I have a tiny bit on my tail on 1 of the grips and less on the other. But we are talking very little here.

    I would fly it myself.

For comparison the Goblin 770 grips have plenty off slop by design.

Mine looks the same as that, tail grips are normally designed with some slop which get taken out when spinning.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It seems to be good nearer the hub, but the when you get out to where the thrust bearings are that's where the lateral slop is.

Just a little concerned, probably worrying over nowt. With the blade in, you can hear metal clicking on metal when you move it side to side.
