Learnt alot about the beast while testing Dave . I made some Mechanical changes which have improved things a lot. Equal stops now, more consistent piros and an all round better feel, so well pleased now.

Nice flight! How does it compare to the E7?

            Thanks sacko,
Its been a while since i flew the E7 properly, but here goes!
All my flying on the E7 was done with a vbar, which i new very well having spent much time testing.I settled on a high (for me!)head speed of 2250.It worked well at this speed, but found it didnt like the lower headspeeds that i prefer to fly 2000-2100. I was able to fine tune it to my tast on the v bar,but was never quite happy, running such a high headspeed, lower flight times and also a tail which definatly needed the higher speeds.

To compare the two is very difficult. The Rush has been set up with a Beast, which to me is unfamiliar and dont forget that this model runs tork tube drive. What i will say,is that i was feeling very comfortable on flight number three! It was noted at the end of this flight that kaos loops and hard stop/reversing tail manouvers had some how krept into a setup flight!.
I now understand the Beast better and have been able to fine tune to my likes. The tail needed the most work, off setting the servo horn and reducing the slider on 1 side had that sorted and it now feels close to my own model which runs a vbar.
It feels very light in the air only running +-12 degrees.Running a scorpion hk3 4035 530kv motor there is plenty of power
The thing that stuck me most was the accuracy of the cyclics, extreamly sharp but not off putting in any way.
The machine itself is built very strong, dont think i have seen such a strong frame design before. All machining to metal components is top notch and it looks quality.
We have no canopy yet so more testing and flying to be done. cant wait!..............

            cheers

            i forgot to mention headspeeds.
I settled on 2150 as being the sweet spot for a high headspeed and am glad that when lower headspeeds were tried the tail still worked and the model still felt snappy.

Alees is a new company set up by Charlie Stevens, we can expect to see more models and designs in the future from his company.
I have had the pleasure of speaking with him and can confirm that his passion and drive for this new business is very much real.
He listens to his feedback, and will make sure that his products are top notch.

cant ask for more than that from any company so i look forward to see how this model takes off in the market when released.
