Ive been looking at the Rush 750 for the last month and am thinking about giving it a go. Just wondered what your thoughts on it so far? how does it fly and whats the spare parts prices/availability like?

My thoughts? I'm clearly biased, so perhaps I should leave it to the folks here. There is a good dealer network in the UK that you can find out about at www.aleesrc.com click on the Where to Buy tab. I think the quality of the design and parts are top notch. The machining is precise and very beautiful to look at. The frames are made of 2mm CF and to it not so gently, the thing is built like a tank! It's got an extremely quick head whose design is unique with a US Patent Pending. It's a good build, too. It is a builders helicopter with few parts that are pre-assembled. Should you decide to go with ALeeS, it would be my pleasure to welcome you to the family! Mine still hasn't flown yet (waiting on the final component now, the ESC) but just to build its a beautiful heli.
Everything is extremely well made, and tolerances are tighter than a squirrel's ear...
It's also an absolute beauty to look at! I'm greatly looking forwards to finally getting it in the air.Ridding the world of Helis, one crash at a time....

How does it fly? Does it matter, look at it, its awesome!!!! lol
Seriously Im loving mine. Flys very nice. It looks big in the air for some reason maybe due to the head but it is really nice. I dont fly mine above 2000rpm and its sweet and it prob why I need 115mm tail blades. Quality is superb with some real sweet touches like the logo machined out on the blade grips. Electronic placement is very well thought out and allows for a nice tidy install. Someone keeps bugging me to sell mine to them as they too tight to buy new lol but its a kit that I dont think anyone would not like and I dont understand why its not bigger than it is over here. Its so popular everywhere else it seems just not on this forum.
I have to say the level of support from the team US guys is second to none and the fact that your first reply on here is from their team manager speaks volumes too.

I am no team member and tend not to be a fanboy of anything as such. I just appreciate a good design and am honest in my buying outcomes if I have made a mistake. I have flown my Rush as both a 3D monster and now have it configured as an Aerial Photography machine. All l can say is that I still get a huge smile every time I release TH. The machine was by far the best build I have ever done and there are loads of great little touches in the design. It flies like a scalded whippet if you want but also, despite its very nimble head, flies incredibly smoothly, hence why I am so pleased with my AP results from it.Fusion 50 FBL, vBar, 9180/8s, HeliJive, Compass 6HV head, Quantum 4135, 12s, Emcotec SPS

I think they are a very well designed heli and flies as well as any in my sig, build quality is perfect, parts are very well priced and Climbout keep well on top of avalible spares, even split a kit down to get you flying again.
I have now crashed mine twice and both times it stood up very well, my only negative would have been the one way bearing but that has now been addressed and sorted.
Would i sell mine, no way its a keeper.Troll buster

I don't own one myself but built one for someone and it was a very nice build with the machining being top notch, The one thing I did have a problem with was the ball links. They were all a very tight fit on the balls meaning there was quite a lot of friction in the push pull system that caused some headaches.TREX 700E DFC SK540

I prefere my links tight, then i can ream them so there perfect, but i always leave the head links alone for the first 5 flights to bed in, then slightly ream if needed.Originally posted by ghost2212 View PostI don't own one myself but built one for someone and it was a very nice build with the machining being top notch, The one thing I did have a problem with was the ball links. Wow!
Y'all are a great bunch! Thanks so much for the high praise! Only one thing, though... the only links that you should leave alone and not resize are the links from the swash driver/pitch lever to the grip. Those will work in and actually become super smooth in a few flights.
