        Used to fly control line planks, but that was over 30 years ago. Even then someone I knew had a heli, and I said to myself "One Day..)

          Will be trying one this week. Although I would't have one(not my thing) I am curious to see how hard they are to fly as a comparison.

            Once you get to a certain level the amount of skill required by both is about the same, although the main difference is helis can go any direction....

            Planes as a general rule always go forwards... (not strictly true if flying the right model...)

              I would agree, although they are alot easier to get the basics, ive also found most people that fly helis have very little problems flying them around, landingsand takoffs are the only usual problem areas

                I'll fly anything - haven't mastered the wife's broomstick yet though

                I have to admit I've not flown my planks since I've started flying helis. Just not the same challenge... or buzz... or frustration...

                  I have two planks flown once twice but decided to stay with me heli's
                  Today's outlook is fine for flying.
                  • Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.
