See also my other post on the other BMFA rag rant thread, but the magazine is a real pile of poo. When there was a regular chopper column, there was also column for scale planes, slope soarers, free flight, gliders, aerobatic, jets, and about half a dozen categories of plane. The guy doing the chopper column did well to condense the whole helicopter world into such a small space, but really my naive view of the model flying world is that there are helis, planes, rockets (and kites if you like), and I don't feel that the hobby is represented ratiometrically in the magazine to the hobby at large, and to not even mention helicopter flying, as per the latest magazine seems pretty shocking if you ask me.
