reading pxr. files

Right I finally found how to work on this forum after a while of forgetting how to locate this; does anyone know what program I can use/download because I've had this problem for ages, because my computer doesn't recognise pxr. files, so I can never see other people's recordings. Even if I've downloaded them, I cannot read the pxr. files...
It seems nearly everyone is able to read them, except me...

As I understand it, the PXR files are recordings from Phoenix flight simulator. I believe the only application that can read and view these is Phoenix itself.
