Phoenix will not learn DX6i

I have phoenix and when I try to set up my DX6i there is no Spektrum list in the drop down menu.When I try do do it manually it says phoenix encountered a problem when I get to the flaps section. When I try the advanced method ,after I hit finished it still says I have to enter a controller. I have a new computer with windows 7 professional,it worked before on my xp. Any help would be appreciated.

Works ok for me on Windows 7 with my DX6i, have you updated phoenix to the latest version.

Hmmm that is odd, I dont think this will work but it is always worth a try right mouse click on the Phoenix icon and click Run as administrator and try it again.

The only problem I have had with calibrating the TX is that I have found that before I go into the menu and pick calibrate TX I have to set both sticks to the center otherwise it wont calibrate the throttle channel properly.

Tried as admin and got the same. When I use the pull down menu the only radio listed is futaba. So I have to enter the radio in my self and when I get to which channel the flaps are, I get a message saying that phoenix exe has encountered a problem and closes the program.

I'm also running 7 pro and using dx6i, running version 4 m, you should be able to goto 'system' 'my controls' 'spectrum' 'dx6/dx6i' or 'dx6/dx6i (plane) if you haven't got that option there is something very strange going on..

Only installed phoenix on my Win 7 home premium machine on Thursday - all ok with my dx6i & I have the options mentioned. Maybe some files failed to copy correctly, try a re-install after a defrag / registry cleanup.
