Pheonix v3 and dx8

I cant get the throttle sorted. Rotor starts to spin at half throttle and goes flat out, when stick moved to max it will sit on ground with out rapid take off. Have tried reversing servo, still no joy, done all calibrations. It seems to be uncontrolable on the throttle stick.

Have a look at the servo monitor on your DX8, see what the channels is doing. If that is moving the way it should look at the controller in Phoenix.
The pitch have to move with the throttle to get it working.

Throttle and pitch are moving together -100% to 100% if that helps at all.

throtel and pitch should as a starting point be 0 25 50 75 100 and work from there b carefull that your pitch is not reversed because if you have head speed and you pull stick back it will lift off been there done that

Yeah thats on the dx8 after reseting model on tx(back to heli default settings).

Remove the controller on the sim and set ip up again. make sure the flight mode is correct and the t hold is not ON on the DX8.

I had this same issue on first use. My problem was that the dx7s I have was still set to plane mode ;-/ but also the servo setting was set to use 3 instead of one at 90'

Once the server config was correct, I could then configure the dx correctly in the Phoenix radio setup.

Hey

With my DX8 I followed bolders setup guide for the DX6i. If you search phoenix dx6i setup it will come up then just scroll down to the post. Mine works a treat.
