Anyone having trouble with PHOENIX SIM new update v4
Iv'e try'ed to update v3.0 to the new v4.0 it gets so far (just over half way then stops??)
and it takes ages

What are your computer specs?

Any error messages appear?

having a similar problem trying to update from 3.s to 4.j, gets to 2% then says failed. been at it most of the day. I have a top spec gaming system with all windows, graphic card, m/board drivers upto date

Mine wouldn't auto update, downloaded the manual update file from the website and it worked first time.

Tried to update to 4j the other night and every time it failed half way through the download. I tried again just a minute ago it auto updated with no problems.

I had a lot of trouble doing it. One suggestion that worked was to say no to the auto update and then in system select check updates and then do it that way. Still was taking ages doing it in the day, but then did it first thing in the morning and it worked very quickly.

May be something to do with number of people trying at the same time i guess

I am so glad you have had the same problem as me thought it was something I was doing wrong, in the end did a manual download early this morning and it went in first time, perhaps Phoenix has been watching our problem and sorted it out their end, still it looks good with the 3D sites

if any 1 havin this prob still dl it manually. stick it in downloaded updates folder (this is in documents open pheonix then u will see the folder.

then right click the launch icon select properties then

xp find target

vista/7 open file location

then click pheonixUpdateInstaller

bang done
