The "Auto" dynamics that Bob and Ade have worked on are very good IMHO. If the inverted auto dynamics are realistic then I'm ready to do one.

However there seems to be no way to completely bog the engine (and YES this happens even if you are a "god" like BobJ, even though he apparently thinks there's no need for this). Also the tail seems to be imperviously to headspeed loss and does not go soggy even in manouvres at full pitch backwards. Am I missing something here?

However, overall I'm pretty impressed with this update. Cheers guys at Phoenix.

I'm afaraid I can't even use my Sim for longer that 20 minutes because when I do it closes my PC down completely. I have updated the drivers for my Brand new G card. I have done everything Phoenix Support has suggested but to no avail, it's still happening and I'm beginning to run out of ideas as to what is causing it.

            Graham,
Does your PC just turn off instantly on it's own?
The last time I had this happening to me, it was down to an overheating problem - CPU protection kicking in, turning the power off before the processor gets too hot and fries.

            Potential solutions if it's this:
Make sure the internals of the PC are dust free (stick the vaccuum cleaner hose in there and remove dust - be gentle with the vac, earth yourself on the power supply unit to discharge any static off you before diving into the chassis.

Check that the CPU fan (stuck on top of the heatsink which is stuck on top of the cpu) has enough room to blow the hot air away from itself. My brothers PC had this problem (due to ppor case layout) - the fan was very close to the bottom of the power supply unit, and completely covered by it - so the fan couldn't blow the hot air away and the PC regularly locked up/powered down due to this. I ended up buying a new case for it to resolve the issue.

            Cheers,
            Rob

Are you using AMD proccessors at all there's a wicked bit of free software which sits your desktop and you can see CPU temperatures and such like, as i agree with the other post about getting warm, perhaps 1 off your fans has become Lazy and stop working
If You Cant Dazzle' Em With Brilliance, Baffle' Em With emmmm you know the rest

Does your PC just turn off rather than doing a graceful shutdown?

If it does just turn off then I would agree that the system may be over heating or you may have a faulty temerature probe on the mother board.

Download this and check your temperatures when Phoenix is running.

                      http://files3.majorgeeks.com/files/e...cs/mbm5370.exe

It could also be the thermal cut off's on the mother board could be set too low in the BIOS.

If MB monitor shows a speradic temperature on one of the sensors but all the rest seem ok then it's likely you have a faulty sensor. You could turn off the thermal protection on the mother board in this case and it would stop the system from shutting down. This would be done at your own risk though as if a fan did fail at some point your system would not shut down and it would fry

                      Hope this helps.

ok, some t-rex 600 tweaks for 1.04d only.

                                change following parameters:
                                Frontal cyclic response: 0.55
                                lateral cyclic response: 0.55
                                knife edge lift: 95
                                blade inertia: 0.24

and for tails that won't hold reduce the tail fin area slightly until it feels how you want it or set it to 0 for no blowout at all.
