I saved mine to a Custom Profile and on running each ver for the first time just click cancel through the calib screens.

Before flying select System>Your Controls and then select the saved profile. (maybe you don't even need to use a custom profile but as mine wasn't listed.....)

Yeah, I also found the physics to be out up to 2.00C after that I felt they had improved...................

Did anyone else get 8-10 Heli updates thru the new auto-update feature on installing this latest version?

More to the point, all but one of them has installed correctly. Honeybee King 2 from 18-9-2008 won't install no matter how more coaxing I give it! The really odd thing is that I already had all of these model updates installed!!!

Hi They all loaded fine for me. But, is it just me that has turned into Danny Szabo overnight? I can do things with the heli that I couldn't in 1.05J. I'm using the Knight 3d and I don't think the physics are the same. I can Auto from anywhere. Inverted, flip, piros etc on the way down and still land it.

Or is that I'm just shit hot.

None of mine installed, they just sat there with a DOS window open and the installer doing nothering, so I closed it - seems to work OK.

its the k3d.. it does not comply with physics

No mate, it's not just the K3D either, it's anything, I can auto a Blade 400 relatively easily on the new version, and most will tell I'm sure that a 400 class should... well.... crash... Period.

Well, for the moment I am keeping 1.05j on one of my computers.

Some things I like about the 2.00 version and some I haven't warmed up to just yet.

I get exactly the same problem....
every time i run it , im told i need to get the honeybee uodate...
I just ignore it (never gonna fly the thing anyway)


I agree with the points about autos too,,
I've been going real high, doing inverted blade stops then flipping it 4 times before landing .
I doubt very much that it would be possible in real life. (not that i'll ever try mind )

That said, one thing that really has improved is the reduction in the tendency for the heli to fall over on landing after an auto (and no, I'm not using the training gear... Well, not all of the time lol)
