neXt on Mac osx

    neXt on Mac osx

    Hey

    Just ordered neXt flight sim from midland heli, should be arriving in the next few days.

    I have a 14sg, and told them so. they are sending a dongle and cable so i can hook it up.

    Does anyone have expeirence using your tx on neXt on osx? if so is it easy to get the mac to see the tx?

    Yes i have a macbook running osx with next. I use the RX2sim and have no issues with connectivity

        Would think the adapter cable they are sending would be sufficient. I downloaded my version and used with an old cheap sim cable but ordered the rx2sim adapter so it is essentially wireless. Means i can sit at a distance and still use the sim.

          yeah hopefully it will work, but i am not confident lol. It may work tho!

          But with that rxsim adaptor i will need a seperate receiver wont i?

            with RX2SIM you need a receiver yes - I did the initial testing for Klaus while he was integrating it ... it just works mate ...

                Ive been using neXt on my Macbook with DX9. I originally used a USB dongle & it worked just fine but, now i use the RX2SIM + a Sat (R111XN), it works fine too.
                I have phoenix + Accurc (can only use in my Win7 partition)but, the neXt sim i find is the best especially as i can use it in OSX.
                After tweaking up the settings for the heli i use the neXt heli flying feels & looks much more like real the thing (IMO of course).

                  Hey up

                  got the sim and it all works good. i got an align adaptor

                  but the only issue is now i am only getting 5 channels. So for example, trying to get the s900 drone to work with its retracts and camera gimbal aint working!

                  I am suspecting the adaptor is only 5 channels! Upon calibration nothing else is working apart from the tx gimbals. running it with a 14sg

                    majority are 5/6 rx2sim can use 8 channels ....
