It's available from here http://www.hillcraft.co.za/FMS.htm and is pretty good with some good support available online and plenty of landscape's and heli's to download
You can actually make up your own lead from the TX and calibrate it as a joystick to use on FMS I did this before I got into the G2 and XTR. If anyone want's to know how to do this then I will post the diagrams etc.
i have an actual lead that came with my tx.Its a ps/2 port and audio cable bit on the end.Gonna try this tomoz on FMS see if it works.Do you peeps think it will?
I just got an Esky Bumblebee 2 with a SIM cable, but can't get the FMS software to recognize the controller. Does anyone have a suggestion? I have tried every combination of settings available in the program.
Maybe that's my problem. I've been using the serial port. Guess I need to find a converter because the cable that came with the transmitter has a serial connection on it.
I found an adapter to convert the serial plug to a printer port plug. Still no luck. I suspect the signal is not being run to the jack on the transmitter. I did check the cable and have continuity on all pins. Guess I'll just have to use the helicopter as my "simulator"!
Your converter may not being passing the pins through to the right pins on the printer port. The parts cost to make your own cost less than a 10.00 from Maplin.
Alternatively, buy one from this guy and your sorted.
If all else fails, you can buy a TX joystick controller from a Ripmax agent for around 40 (RRP) - This is basically the same unit as the one that ships with Easyfly - The nice part is you can also use the controls in 'real' flight sims such as X-Plane and MS-Flight which provides an interesting perspective
