FMS and calibration problem

Hey all, I wonder if anyone out there can help?

Am trying to get some SIM training in but when connected laptop(vista) to my E-FLY 6ch and I calibrate left stick is ok ..i.e.trottle,rudder etc but right stick doesnt seem to be working correctly ... everytime I take off helicopter launches to the left ...totally impossible to fly

Ive also tried the same on Microsoft 2004 FS and it does exactly the same

all suggestions welcome including throw out of window!!

Hi mate dont know about your tx but on the DX7 you need to select '1 servo' on the swash type .can you select a swash type on your TX?
Mine behaves like that if i have the wrong swash type selected

Hi crofty,
Well its been a long time since I tried using fms but if my memory serves me right you can assign each channel to give the appropriate control response. I think its under mapping.

Or you could get yourself a copy of Phoenix and find out what a proper simulator is like

PPS. I dont think the transmitter is a very good one , was part of the package with heli

I think changing your model type from heli to acro will sort the problem out.

EDIT:
My fault sorry, for some reason I assumed you had an dx6i, usualy if this was the case then the above would sort it.

You could bring it with you but im not farmiliar with your transmitter. Basically there are a few different swash types which just refers to the position of the servos underneath the swashplate.
ie; 1 servo controlling the pitch

2 servos set at 180 degrees to the swash

3 servos set at 120 degrees to the swash

3 servos set at 90 degrees to the swash

Ill try and explain better on sunday for you but basically you need to select 1 servo for Pheonix

Tis ok . have ran though all the modes from aero to tail to CCPM heli to Heli to Delta and they all the same....

Now Im starting to think its me thats crap not my equipment - argghh!!


PS.. maybe a DX with pheonix could be a sooner rather than later purchase
