FMS and VISTA
Hi does anyone know how to get fms to work with windows vista. i have cml (did try pheonix but my laptop couldn't handle it) fms keeps asking for d3drm to be loaded but vista doesn't run it, please help.

I've heard many people say this, I fear FMS isn't Vista compatible.
What spec is your Lappy, as you have the option the turn all the graphic settings to low and still enjoy the flight physics true to life.sigpicWayne AKA OB1

Turn off textures.
Find the DLLs it requests with google. Put them in teh FMS directory.

Forget FMS and download a copy of HeliSimRC (see my earlier post) it is Freeware and miles better than FMS and runs on Vista as well as low level laptops. You can use the same joystick controlers as FMS.Comment

i quite like fms but now have phoenix so the fms sim is just for my 2 and 3 year old boys (i dont trust em with any of my futaba transmitters). i got about 500 planes and helis and about 20 different photo flight scenes. here are a couple of flight vid on fms
