  • transmitter option?

    looking for some help guys

i brought the accurc sim and all downloaded fine, but i brought a walkera devo 7 transmitter off feebay because its listed on the sim website as not needing a dongle due to having a usb socket
so the transmitter arrived today and yeah, you guessed it my luck, it devo transmitter i brought has no usb socket, great

so have i got an option to use this wakera devo 7 wirelessly or should i just do what i should have done in the first place and went with a dx6i or something else?

im trying to do it on the cheap because the kids will be using it as well and it will probably get dropped a lot

    thanks guys

if you want to go wireless then this is going to be the best bet

      hi ade
      thanks for that,
yeah there is a space in the back where a usb plug would be, but its just a rubber grommet cover,
i did think about opening it up to see if its fallen inside but i doubt it, its a new tx

the wireless dongle there is out of stock, typically my luck lol

i think i will scrap this idea and go another route

      thank you

              Hi
no I got the lead through but it didn’t work ha ha

ive had loads of other stuff going on too so actually kinda forgot about it. I’m just going to go with a spektrum tx I think

check out the frsky stuff, the software takes some time to learn but theres plenty of guides on youtube.

much cheaper than spektrum and much more powerful software, another nice feature is that you can just connect them via usb to the computer for use on the sim, no dongles required.

I love my frsky qx7 it works great!

So I’m guessing a vcontrol will work with its usb lead?

Yeah it's super easy Tony. Change usb mode in the vcontrol menu to simulator and away you go. And it charges while you sim!
