Has anyone set up a spectrum dx9 on this sim as seam to have all kinds mixed up functions not channels and its doing my heed in big time! On line video is of no use to me.

We are aware that channel numbering is confusing some spektrum users and have an update in alpha testing that takes the guesswork out of it.
What dongle do you have to connect the spektrum to the PC?
I know you said a video is of no use to you but pictures are worth a thousand words. The video below guides you through the process of setting up an unknown dongle with unknown channel assignment.
The only difference with the DX8 to this video is the switch assignment is in a different menu on the dx8, its still in system settings but its called something like input config.
