There is a Steam group called AccuRC 2. If we post in there before an online session, would that send alerts out to everyone?Comment

Wow, the multiplayer could do with a bit of work. A few people joined but I couldn't see names, the chat box wouldn't work, the whole thing stopped for a second every time someone crashed, and occasionally it would throw me back to the workshop. WTF, seriously underwhelmed.Comment

Yeah, that's pretty similar to my experience online last time I tried it. Well, at least it has it now, which it didn't before V2. It can only get better.
The more people buy it, the more they can spend on development. At the moment, I think they only have a single programmer. I'd volunteer, but I haven't written any C code for well over 20 years. It could be my slow PC, but I remember Jonas complaining about the crash pausing while he was trying to show a move on RotorHeads. It might be better if someone else hosted, but for now I won't bother hosting a session.
The actual flying seems reasonably good though. There are things I can do easily in neXt, that I struggle with IRL, and AccuRC gives me that same feeling of lots of variables coming together to make it less robotic.
That camera setting you gave me seems about the best so far. I still can't get the zoom in close enough on loops though.Comment

I played online today and it seemed a bit better. One session just kept disconnecting me, but another seemed quite stable. As long as players just fly and don't crash, it's OK. It's only when they crash, go to the workshop, leave, join, anything other than fly, it pauses for a few seconds.Comment
