Got the 600e sorted in a way, it will hover hands off in one place but add a little more pitch and seems to go up quite quick and on the way down drops quite quick!

atm its -2 +5 (mid) +10 to much pitch?

You can drop that to 8 degrees if its for a scale and you don't need the extra oomph!

you don't say if its a 2 or a multi blade head
but i'd reduce the top end pitch and the throttle curve to reduce the head speed a little

Have you considered dropping a pinion size or two and running closer to 100% throttle? You get better efficiency and your electronics aren't being worked so hard.

I also re-read your post and you say it drops really quick too? Even with only -2? I'd double check you are only getting -2 as it shouldn't come down 'too' quick with that.

Edit - have you tried setting your mid-stick to zero degrees instead of +5 and making mid-to-bottom stick the -2? I'm not sure how you fly your helis so I can only speculate. That way you have a very gentle negative curve. However, if you're used to flying +5 @ mid-stick then it might be too much of an adjustment. Do you do any sport/3D flying?
