I don't know how big these actually are but maybe with a modelling knife and some paint?

All depending on your modelling skills, but with some plain polystyrene, like that used to pack TVs etc in their boxes, and scalpels, and Humbrol enamels you can make very effective pilots that weigh practically zilch. The beauty of this method is they can be customized any which way to suit the a/c.

Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !

mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.
                      Several planks, gathering dust.

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.

managed to get some cheap tat action figures of the correct size and spent last night making him look a bit better . second pic is what they looked like . first pic is after the makeover . Have just got to position the pilot and then fill all the moving joints and smooth them off .

                              Mego 8 inch figures

Got some off these guys, cheap and cheerful, and big variety of just about anything you can think of! Loads of points of articulation, and they are quite light too!
The only snag is the shipping, I think it was $25, so make your shopping worth it! you also get gifts if you spend over certain amounts!
