Very cool. You'd have to add the theme tune if you made a video!

I used the Align one. It was the only one I could find at the time in stock. Really pleased with the quality. I assume it's a rebranded heli artist one as its exactly the same.Agusta A109 Fuse with Trex 450 Pro FBL Mechanics - Beast X - More Pics and Information here

Cool. I'm tempted to go for a 500 belt super combo and the fuse when funds allow.Originally posted by Andy_Ran View PostI used the Align one. It was the only one I could find at the time in stock. I love mine. It flys well and looks amazing in the air
I would suggest a belt over a TT as they sit very low to the ground, its easy to touch the tail if the ground isnt perfectly level, and its a pain to take the frames etc out the fuse to replace a stripped gear.Agusta A109 Fuse with Trex 450 Pro FBL Mechanics - Beast X - More Pics and Information here

I have not flown mine for a little while - it has the 500 esp inside it and I run a torque tube with no issues. I did put a slightly longer tail spike thing which helps keep the tail from brushing the ground. It sits in my office and looks great - here is a picture with my MCPX keeping it company.
I might think about selling it soon though 'cos I have too many heli's and this gets no flying time.

This might be a silly question - but how simple is it to return this scale build to a pod and boom set-up. I've been offered this same airwolf scale heli with a trex 500 GF inside - but would want to get stable on the pod and boom for a while before returning the scale body to flight in the future. Is this simple to do. Not looking to switch frequently. Ta.Blade 120SR

Pretty easy - the tail pod needs to be removed (mine is secured with 4 small screws that are set into and aluminium band inside the tail section). Then remove the tail itself.Originally posted by Mimbulus View PostThis might be a silly question - but how simple is it to return this scale build to a pod and boom set-up. Then remove the securing bolts (mine has 6 that secure the main base plate into the bottom of the fuselage), then carefully remove the entire frame out of the fuselage in one bit. Remove the base plate from the frame, re-attach the skids, re-attach the tail and the boom supports along withe the virtical and horizontal fins and hey presto, back to a pod and boom.
In my case I did move some of the electronics around a bit to make them easier to access whilst in the fuselage, but mostly it is quite easy to remove, test and then re-install. I've done that twice to mine, but its not something you need to do much at all. The second time I did it was when I changed over to flybarless and and needed to test everything out before running it in the Airwolf.
A little tip - bring cable connections to the front for ease of access, for example I use a BeastX on mine so I ran and additional cable from the BeastX to the front to allow me to do updates without opening everything up - also brought the aux and bind leads from the rx up to the front as well in case I need to re-bind or add another channel for some reason. Oh and make sure you are running a BEC - don't rely on the bec in the esc - especially if you are running re-tracts on a separate servo. My NAV lights are run off of a separate 2s lipo
