Help re-painting 500 size fuselage...

Hi mate, thanks for asking. Nope. Not started as yet. Ive been trying to sell it on, as Im really wanting to do the AH1 Cobra. Ive been reading the build manual for this, and Im thinking it might be a bit beyond my skill. I had originally wanted to do the AH1, but heard it wasnt a straight fit for an EFL pro, and needed about £80 worth of parts swapped over. This fuselage came up at a fair price, and I was really taken with the fact that all the mechanics and electrics are stored in the doghouse, allowing to scale out the interior. I hadnt looked into the fact that its a bit more of a tricker build than the cobra, and it now also looks like I would maybe need to upgrade the motor and possibly ESC due to extra weight. Also, the fuse is BIG, and ive read you're better to use larger main and tail blades... more $ i cant afford.
I dont really have the cash to be able to do what needs done, and ive now found a kit for about £30 to make an EFL pro compatible for the AH1 and UH60. This is kind of the route I want to go, as it looks like its going to be more affordable, and its also the scale heli I originally wanted.

Dont worry though, all the info you guys helped me with will go to good use. I need to sell this fuse before I can get it, but Ive found an AH1 fuse that is mostly a light grey, so Id be planning on doing a camouflage job on it. That also raises a couple more questions, but I'll leave it till ive got the fuse and paints!

Im not having much luck selling this at the moment, so I may end up repainting it anyway, but its kind of on hold just now....
