  • Scale retracts for Airwolf / Bell 222

    Hi
Although I've been an reader of this forum for some months, this is my first post.
Coming winter I plan to start transforming my Align Trex 600ESP to a nice scale Airwolf. I have the Funkey 50 size fuselage (unpainted version) and I'm busy researching and gathering parts. It'll be my first scale project, so the research part is taking up quite some time :-)

On various pictures and YouTube movies, I have seen some very nice scale looking retracts. But I can't seem to find links to a shop or webshop where I could purchase a set

Anyone have some advice where to find scale retracts for a 50 size Airwolf / Bell 222 fuselage?

    Thanks

    Regards,
    Frank

Hi, try these guys, when you click on the link you will see that they have 600 size cnc retracts at the top of the page. I used their 500 size rtracts on my airwolf - good stuff!

Thanks for all the feedback guys!
Initialy I chose the HeliArtist gear sold by Sportsmoto, but since they were out of stock, I started googling for another webshop selling them. During this search, I ran into this thread: New Gear Retract System for my Bell 222, 01/01/2009 - Page 1 - RunRyder RC Helicopter. Maybe it's me, but I was completely stunned by the realistic look of this gear.
Yes, they're insanely pricey, but I just ordered the same set as the guy from the thread.
