Just a quick build log of my Hirobo bell 47, first "scale" build I have done.
Not true sale as just added bits I like the look of.

Main frame built up and awaiting powder coating.

That was my first thought when I built it, would be great in the snow.

This is as much as is with the kit for cabin detail. So I covered the balsa block with plastic card, and added a bit of detail, still needed the paint touching up the pic.





Made up some rudder pedals out of brass tube and plastic.


Added a cut and shut ken for a pilot, seats are now cut down to size.

Made a landing light out of a torch, fitted a 3mm led in nice and bright.



The light fitted and a white strobe on as well, managed to take a photo while the strobe was on.



the tail boom red beacon holder made out of scrap plastic 10mm led in this one.



Just a shot of the rear end now it is painted, you can just make out the fake glue rivets on the winglet.

Isn't Ken in the wrong seat ? Left for fixed wing.
Right for rotary.
I learned to fly in the Bell47G, your one looks very nice.
