So, not sure who's still following this thread but things are very slowly progressing!
I just received my scale blades today and I must admit they actually look pretty good. Pleasantly surprised on that one.... I also got my new lighting kit but that's going to take some man hours to hook up and I haven't got the time just yet.
So now I just need to finish the lighting, do some detailing on the fuse and so on, and then wait for my SK720 to become available from the 600 Pro! After seeing the multi blade head I'm pretty keen for a multi blade tail so I imagine it will be getting one sooner rather than later.
Anyone got any recommendations as to what type of paint to use on the blade grips?
Fantastic, really good thread. Thank you for providing such a detailed insight into putting together a practical scale model. I hope to progress to something this good (one day - thumbs allowing!!).

My attention has been on my eurofighter build in the UAV general section (take a peek!) and this has really been on standby until the spartan vortex comes out and frees up the skookum from the 600 Pro.
I have however done a couple of things...
Now rocking a Kontronik Koby ESC, and the lighting system has been changed. I might try and get a video of the new lighting tomorrow.
Good luck with yours!
