550 2 bladed head to a 4 bladed 600 head.

I am building a 550 trex into a augusta 109 body i have now decided to go for the 4 bladed head, the head that has been recomended is the4 x Blade -600 size 10mm Scale Head Sportsmoto Brand will this head be to much for the motor thats in the 550, or is there anything that i have to change to make it work with existing gear.

I bought a CopterX 4 blade head from ehirobo for my Trex 600e size Bolkow BO-105. It's for the 10mm shaft so should fit your 550 OK. However, I had to junk the Align 600XL motor as it was drawing over 60A. I replaced it with a Scorpion HK-3226-900 turning 700mm scale blades from Spinblades.de at 1260 RPM. The Scorpion motor is supposed to be for a 500 size heli but it's only drawing 30A off a 6S pack with a model that weighs 5.1kg. I was stuck with the series 32 motor as the frame spacing on the old Align 600e is quite narrow.

Robotbirds are selling Scorpion motors at a good price at the moment. (No I don't work for them)
