A109 Army Fiber Glass Fuselage

Hi
as anyone used the above i am trying to install a 450 se but the boon is not long enough it is about a cm inside the body and i have pushed the body right up against the servo retracts it driving me potty any advice would be great

That was the link I used when i put the coastguard version around my TRex 450Sport. BTW, the retracts were a right pain, and I wished I had never bothered trying [in vain] to make them work. The mount of the retract units onto the shell is too feeble also. I had to build up the base to raise the 450 pod so that the boom was long enough. Snag then was that it cut down the battery space.
You will find the copter is really tail heavy, like by nearly 180g. So you need the space for a big battery!!! Even so, I had a 9v dry cell glued in the nose as ballast, plus a lot of down on the swash to compensate.
I'll look around the comp and see if I still have any pics of by build!!

thanks guys worked it out I was using a plastic 1 peice gearbox insted of a metal one i can now see how it is possible
