Colour match. MD500E (Bretling)

Now a proud owner of a MD500E (Bretling colours) with T-Rex600E mechanics. I want to make some detailed scale changes so need to have exact colour matches for the yellow, the red and the blue please.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Went into Avon Auto Colours today. Very helpful but could not match the yellow or the metallic purple/blue. Well, they might be able to do so in acrylic, which is a two-pack and requires professional breathing gear. They use pro-forma colours as in the car industry. Although a great range and one or two were close, nothing was exact. Thanks very much, Ron, for pointing me in their direction, because I learned quite a bit talking with John.

Have e-mailed Align, since they were the original suppliers of the body, I believe, and will see what comes from that.

If anyone else has a FunKey Bretling colours fuselage and can help that would be greatly appreciated.

there are places that will "scan" the color right off the model and the special machine will match the color and mix reqiured amount pigments ,there mostly custom paint makers, i know few "crown paints" trade outlets have/had such mixtures (father was an employee). ive had paint mixed perfectly to colored plastic for few items.

also note unless done this way its not 100% that any "matched" paint will be close as paints are mixed in batches veriables changes from batch to batch

metallic can be done too

this type of system is used all over the US but seems not so much here in uk :S metallic is just an normal color with silver flakes in ,well bit more but thats basic of it the system will pick up on it being metallic when sample is scaned and mixed to spec.

i got today off so i try pop over to my fathers today see if i can get you info on what mixing service u need to ask for
