Hum had one of these before I killed it

Make sure you put a small screw through the boom to hold it to the main frame. The clamps will loosen off and you end up with no tail drive! So just put a small screw through the boom/and plastic main frame make sure you do not touch the torque drive shaft though.

i would fit the std black paddles back onto it
my boom held ok
i just dumb thumbed mine
but its all back up and flying again

i do need some black paddles for her., ive been flying the model over a year with no boom problems, not easy fitting the rear skid bolts!!

Mine was the raptor 60 made hell of a mess but was funny as well

A new guy had shown up to look at joining club to see the defender go in

with the rear skid bolts mk2 had a hole drilled in the bottom of the body so i could get a long allen key up to the bolt, i glued the nut onto the frame
i made the hole a little bigger than the screw head

The 2 small holes in the bottom is my next plan for maitenace

Just being pedantic, but it's actually a MD500D Defender, not a 530. The 530 has the pointed nose.
