  • Airwolf - Dennis RC the next chapters....wow!

I posted a link to this 700 size Airwolf build a little while ago. Since then Dennis has been busy and has posted loads more info on his web site, here are a couple of video's to show progress to date.

The web site link is here.

This really is one of the best builds I've seen, and the detail is awesome. Enjoy!

    Cheers,

This machine is really awesome, the level of detail this guy is adding is stunning! It does beg the question though of what the all up flying weight will ultimately be once finished.

Amazing. This guy obviously gets more of a buzz out of building than flying.

Is this a personal project or built to order do you know? I mean you wouldn't want to fly more than a hover with all the effort and cash gone into it. Pre flight checks and peace of mind maintenance would take over your life on this baby.

The real question it begs is how much will he cry when it goes in?

I was just thinking that, bet he stacks it. Lol.

                      Hey guys.

Lol, how much would we all cry with him to I think.
Actually I was thinking to myself I hope he's not using either Spektrum DSM2 in the US or a DX8 anywhere! ;-/
I then spotted a DSX12 and thought to myself "I've got one of them, but i bet his is DSMX!" and felt depressed again that I still don't know if I'll be able to upgrade :-(

All joking aside its an amazing model, reading about the test flight it was weighing 27lbs. I think remembering back to earlier and target weight is 29lbs!
That is a seriously hefty model, but apparently it flew well.

I'm sure that I am not alone with my fondness for any Airwolf, I'm still waiting to see Dave Hollins turbined version with retracting guns etc. But I think Dennis's level of detail will be better.
Next thing is will it compete in scale comps and no doubt do very well.
