Nice. On the switch note, i recently held a DX8 & found the switch for the gear is in a far better position than on the DX7. You have to let go of the collective to do it on the 7

Yes but there is a problem, the "gear" switch is in a great place, trouble is that you can't use it when in "heli" mode, you have to use the aux 2 or aux 3 switch which is on the right just above the collective which is a pain in the harris. Apparently this should be "fixed" in future software releases. I'm still trying to find out if there is a way round it - that's why the wolf was dancing around a bit whilst I was trying to find the switch - lol If anyone knows how - please get back to me!Originally posted by p4ddy View PostNice. Bloody hell!! That's a bit daft, Horizon may have released the TX a tad too early me thinks. What servo slow have you used btw?? later on reduce the servo speed JUST A TAD. Go real carefull landing that bird, your retracts look a bit stronger than the ones on my 450 wolf though so it should take a little harder landing.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Yeah - its a tad annoying but I can live with it for now. I bought a Fusion servo slow for the retracts but now I don't need it 'cos the DX8 has the ability to set servo speed - great! Easy to set up via the TX and I'll slow it down a bit more. The retracts are metal and they are great, really look the nuts, they even have a bit of suspension in them (little springs).Originally posted by p4ddy View PostBloody hell!!
