  • Best Airwolf vid ever (because of the location)

    This is just awsome as this VERY VERY lucky git gets to fly his wolf in what looks like the location of the filming for the series just perfect

    Fantastic, brings back the tv show memories from my youth. Good scale flying.

      Very nice scale flying.
      the only thing that puts me off is the flybar, after spending so much on a lovely heli, the little extra to go fbl would not break the bank.

        Nice.

        looking forward to seeing Simon's 500 Airwolf - no doubt it will have the scale looking fbl head.

          Hey.

          I'm of the same feeling as Paul above, loose the flybar and it would be perfect! Main body colour looks a little too light but otherwise it looks and sounds great against the back drop.

            Airwolf is actually grey, the one in this vid i think has an appearance that it's covered in desert dust but i guess it could be darker eh
            Yes the big sigpic is coming back

              Hey.

              Yes indeed it's more of a charcoal grey darker than the model shown, but I am being picky.

                Well I actually managed to unpack the 500 airwolf over the weekend, an impressive beast The only problem is that there are no instructions, never mind, just adds to the fun. The CNC landing gear is really nice! I'm a scale virgin, so I don't really know what to expect, but it's worth a bash especially for the half price bargain (you know me - always looking for a bargain).

                It's going to take a while to build, I plan to do this over the next month or so, time permitting - and I will be sticking the beastx on it so there won't be a flybar!

                Here are a couple of "unpacking" pics - more to follow at some point.

                Cheers,

                  Ok, I found the actual colour

                  Airwolf was painted Phantom Gray Metallic (DuPont Imron 5031X)[and a custom pearl-gray (almost white) on the bottom, in a countershaded pattern.

                  Here is a good Wiki;
