Top job.........looks a bit dark though. Would have thought that was risky with a camo paint job ??.

Speaking of huge balls and Apache pilots, did you know that the Apaches are designed with a "jump seat" for use in extremis when a crew position is needed for ferrying a wounded soldier. The position of the jump seat? Outside, on the avionics bay! Army Air Crews - 16OCT04 AH-64 Iraq

If you haven't already read the book Apache by the pilot Ed Macy. Very very good read and gives the pilots version of another rescue mission of the British soldier in great detail.

Dressed to kill is another Apache book written by the first female Apache pilot Charlotte Maddison. She is also the first pilot in history to come back WINCHESTER which means no ammunition remaining on the mission above she fired a total of £1,499,000 of ordinance protecting Lance corporal Mathew Ford.
Both books speak of the rescue mission.

Another book which is a great read is Immidiate response by Major Mark Hammond. Pilot of the chinook.

Read Ed Macy, a brilliant read. I'll look out for the Charlotte Wilson and Mark Hammond books. Thanks.

Yep a heliartist for Trex 500, photos 1,2,5 are of a real one taken by chris b from my club, if i put some of those dangly things that are on the motors on my scale should finnish it off nice, mmm rivits, wire cutters and wiper blades. i had to flip the tail myself (quite easy) artists body, tail output is made for rhs output unlike the real thing, there are other threds apache i have posted of some build potos
must try to keep my threds together man
