  • 450 scale

Hi guys, currently running a 450 sport on 2200mah batteries and i am soon to put the heli into an EC-135 fuse. Just wondering what size batteries anyone would suggest to get longer running time with the increased weight of the fuse. Any suggestions???

    Regards Scott

I used 2500mah packs but I would not go much bigger as they get heavy.
Some of the new lipos are lighter though.

Thanks Mike, what fuse do you have and what sort of running time do you get with your batteries?

I never had a fuse but had a camera attached. Flight times were about 6 mins with some to spare.

One thing I would add is that the fuselage will almost certainly make the heli tail-heavy, so the additional weight of a bigger batt up front will assist the CofG.
