The trick with setting up a multiblade head is making sure the swash driver is set correctly. Put any one of the blades so it runs down the length of the boom, then move the swash driver until it is at 0 pitch. Once that is set, move the head and check that each blade as it runs parallell to boom is at 0 pitch.

By doing this you get the correct precession on the head.

Also, try and get the linkage rods as close to vertical as possible. If you are flying with electronic stablisation on the head it should be pretty easy to fly... If not prepare for some fun and games! It is possible to fly unaided, but to get the most out of it get some stabilsation.

Results for CNC trex 600 heli

Ron, this is the same place i got my 5 blade head from.

The CNC part of the heads are pretty good, however make sure you take it apart as the loctite was not consistant on all blade roots.

Also, check the linkages which come with it. They are not the best in quality! I measured mine and found something far more suitable on fastlads.

Very quick delivery when i bought mine... and they also now do the 3 or 4 bladed tail which looks pretty good too!

Im still assessing my options on stabilisation systems.

            I have been offered a 2nd hand skookum 360 but i believe that is only a 2axis system ?
Beast x is also due out soon and is retailing at 139.00 euros.

I will set it up and see what happens.

If the price is right, and you already have a tail gyro, go with the Skookum. Only real advantage on a 3 axis is to clean up the installation and reduce the amount of electronics.

I have set up a chinoook !... 2 three bladed heads.... memory is really clear about it... was a long day
Basicly its similar to a standard head up to the bit where you have level...and central... 0 deg swash... then it changes...
Making sure the main shaft is square to a datum say a window frame line the first blade at 0 pitch to the datum... then repeat in the same location for the other blades. its a bit of a faf but it works...
