I've found SK seem to go about things the way I'd expect; and the parameters equate well to [Bell-Hiller] flybars. [That's 'Bell' as in a lot of full-scale helis...]

So, I reckon there's more chance of setting a heli up 'how you want', rather than fighting against the designer's idea of how a heli should fly.
