if it doesn't come with the skids go to your local diy store and get some ali tube and make them
you can use a solid rod for the down legs to bolt the skids together

I understand the LHC Bell 47 kit is derived directly from the Morley, so the body parts should fit straight on! (I've just ordered a new bubble myself!)
Pete
No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
you need the canopy and bubble from the lhc/morley shuttle/raptor kit
the lhc bubble will not fit the 40 size morley canopy
see pete's thread for the pictures

ok time for another question
I take it that with using the spektrum receiver I will need some sort of gyro
the one that is fitted to the bell at the moment is an old Quest gyro so I would like to up date it
any suggestion's
DX6I blade 450x Morley Bell 47g RNLI colours 1/9th scale Morley bell 47g in a pearl purple and white
My recommendation would be a Spartan Quark or similar, as they are quite small and fairly easy to set up.
They can be picked up quite cheap second hand and are not too expensive new.
I'm going to be on the look out for one for my new Vario Bell 47G 2.
Hirobo Lama with Electric Conversion GraupnerMZ24 PRO
I would go with ds610's on cyclics and throttle ds620 on tail loose the 610 park flyer receiver and get an ar 6010 receiver and you can pick up a new thunder tiger 36 for £80
Raptor 50 v2
Raptor 50 titan se
Raptor X50n to go in sea king fuz
Raptor 90
dsx9 mk2
600 size Sea king being built
Bo-105 in red bull colours waitng to be built
I've got a 40 size Morley 47G and use Futaba 3152 servo's as 610's are a bit overkill and I'm even using an original Morley Gyro with a 3152 and its a pussy cat.
If you need new blades then AJ Blades do some 550 ones meant for an Autogyro but are almost the same profile as original ones. I have fitted 5th servo for pitch.
nowt fancy needed on the servos
a 401 works well, the quark or any of the later gyros will be fine
most have been converted to use a 5 servo set up but if it does use the throttle and pitch servo linked then i'd fit
seperate servos to them as it makes the set up much easier

Pete do you also have a morley 47
if so can you let me know how well the bubble fits as mine looks a bit yellow
The bubble should be here in a day or two, so I'll let you know then! Mine went yellow and brittle too, and I managed to get a new one off Jim shortly before he passed away. Unfortunately it got damaged in the house move, and again a week or two back when a fuel bottle fell on it (Grrr!). Electricsceadu reckons that the bubble won't fit the Morley canopy bits, so you need both parts. I was going to do that anyway, as mine was a very early one with acetate parts that have been painted so many times, the paint is thicker than the canopy!
Someone did tell me that the LHC one was based on the 60 size Morley - a model I've never seen in the flesh, quite rare, I think. But I can't vouch for the accuracy of that - yet!

I've seen the morley 60 size bell 47
it was under restoration after jim had a mishap with it
the main frame is the same as the 40 size, the canopy, bubble and tanks are bigger
the boom is an extended 40 size one
the person that had the model was in the mk heli club and a good friend of jim's
in the pictures the 60 size morley 47 is hiding between the yellow one and the md500

Those pictures were taken before I joined MK. I would have liked to have seen the models.
the electric one is on ebay if you wish to see it

the white, yellow and red ones i've not seen or herd of them since i sold them to make room
to build my 1/4 scale vario 47
i do often get a roasting off sean at lhc for selling them
