Responsibility for scale helis at the Nats is now under the auspices of the Scale Technical Committee, with the assistance of the AHA.
So far, only one entry has been received (mine!). Unless at least two more pilots come forward, there will be no scale event at the Nats - again! These events are pre-entry only, and entries MUST be in by the 14th of August, so if you feel like having a go, you need to get a move on!
To fly at the Nats, you must have both BMFA insurance and a "B" cert. The scale heli rules can be found in the scale handbook:
